Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Messages and metadata you forward (sender/recipient info, links and domains, attachment metadata) — processed transiently to produce a result.
- The scrubbed result of each check (risk level, red flags, detected sender/brand).
- Account and billing information (email, plan, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers).
How we use it
To analyze forwarded messages, reply to you, send family alerts where consented, operate billing, and prevent abuse.
AI processing
Forwarded content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the analysis. Per the provider's commercial terms as configured, your content is not used to train models. We only assert here what is actually configured for our account.
Retention
We do not store the raw forwarded emails or attachment files. Content lives only in memory during processing and is discarded after we reply. We retain a scrubbed summary of each check until you delete it or for up to 12 months. Sensitive details (such as full card or Social-Security numbers) are redacted from stored summaries.
Third-party PII in forwarded mail
Forwarded messages may contain information about third parties (e.g. a claimed sender). We process this only to analyze the message, on the basis of your request to check it.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that operate the product: our email provider, AI provider, hosting, Stripe (billing), and analytics/observability — each under their terms.
Your rights
You can delete your check history and your account at any time from your dashboard, and opt out of family alerts. FraudRoom is not intended for children under 13. No security measure is absolute.
